Star Crossed
Can you feel me?
From across the world
Cuz I can feel your essence
Trapped inside my soul
Reach out across the impossible
To catch this foolish dream
Like drops of mist in the sand
Lingering in the breeze
You took my breath of love and trapped me in your eye
Blinded by this guild of foolish delight
Caught up in the moments trapped inside our minds
Reminiscent of the feelings I always push aside
Can you hear me?
Screaming out your name
Cloaked in the shadows and playing in your brain
I can feel your presence, it's cleaver and so clear
Can I be your marionette
Oh Mr. Puppeteer?
Take this girl you pushed aside
She's the only one you've ever let inside
So why deny ourselves what always felt so right
As if we love the ache of heart break,
Stinging at our heels
Never letting each other know how we really feel
