I once was an actor but my 3rd grade teacher wouldn't let me have the lead part, so I gave up acting. Excellent my sweet friend!

I am confused on this. Actors, musicians, and yes, poets, too all seek recognition. It's really in your face here. Wow! I am not into current movies or Iscars. No standing O from me. But they could care less what we think. Actors on screen are meant to be actors. Not their genuine selves. Right??
