Standing In Line For Chocolates

there is a store in a strip mall
Many people are waiting in line
Only four people allowed inside
This store specializes in chocolates
There are many flavours to choose

You can not pick the chocolates
Instead ou point to what you want
Then the lady puts it into the bag
All you do is point to your option
A decision of twenty dollars bagged
Or you could do thirty dollars bagged

There will be a sample chocolate to try
So next time you could add it to your list
I always enjoy a Lindlt chocolate
they have been around since 1841

I can feel your impatience! I have been to Belgium during Easter! Time and place to be if you like chocolates!! I can’t have them as I used to! With age you try to stop intake of sweets but pour out more sweetness through deeds!

Hello Laurie, yes restrictions has slowed things down. Yes for chocolate it is worth the wait. I made chocolates for a widow down my street. I made cherry chocolates for the first time. She enjoyed them. Happy New Year. Laurie.

If there is one candy sweet I love more than any other it's chocolate! As a diabetic it's a great temptation to have more than one small piece, though. I avoid the malls as much as possible at this holiday time, not only on account of thr pandemic but to avoid the rude and pushy crowds. Thank you for reading my poems. I was in line for Godiva. That store takes 4people at a time too. They have the best ice cream and chocolate. Well next to my very favorite chocolate covered macadamia. Lol! So yeah I stood for a good 23minutes, just to have their ice cream on a cone too. It was delicious and your tasty poem got wanting to go back in line... Lol!
