Standing Before God
When I stand before God
may I never have regrets
that I've never tried to do
my best.
Roads have many bends
mountains to climb above
clouds filled with doubt
and fear.
Dawn collecting hope
sunsets bringing in
darkness, while we rest
our distorted minds .
Diamonds bring promise
of another day sparkling
brightly, in these uncertain
times we live.
When I stand before God
may I be an angel, to guide
another through sadness
of heart.
Life is not only for learning
loving, caring, we find out
years of living, we even become
teachers in our time..
