Standing Alone

I stand alone but I stand tall
Not worried about the situation and not afraid to fall
I face my fears and triumph over them all
For the mere fact that I am not afraid to fall

In the heat of the battle I put on a strong face
The toils from each situation I freely embrace
Knowing that in time I would conquer this race
For the mere fact that each situation I freely embrace

When the battle is over and I am a success
I’m no longer in the situation I have passed the test
I am sure that I have done my very best
Because I am no longer in the situation, I have passed the test
