Standing Alone

Standing alone
I saw you standing alone
I saw you that day
Not because every one had deserted you
Not because you had no one to talk to
Everyone around you was smiling

I saw you standing alone
I saw you that day!
And my intuition told me
You were smiling with your teeth
But crying in your heart

I saw you standing alone
I saw you that day!
But this time it was different
You were no longer smiling with your teeth
You were crying in your heart!

Take heart my brother
Even when you stand alone
Stand tall and you will see
You are not alone
When you stand alone.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
