Standing Alone

Standing there once more
Same place as before
Questions they ask again
but I know how it all ends
Going down the same road
Same pace as the last
Hoping for a second chance
But that's how the story goes

Regrets all stay the same
Stumbling in the crowd
Your heart gets all the pain
Same place as the last
Your gambling debt remains

What was I to do
from looking like a fool
The lies you had told
Got me falling down your throne
I changed my mind
Too late I will regret

Alone I stand once more
Looking down this empry hall
For a smile
                  That doesn't lie
