Stand true
My self worth doesn't require your approval
Or my faiths removal
My pain from the past
May still last
Emotions can change so fast
Time has helped shape me
So has all I did see
Strength from within
Surviving through all I have been
Giving me the will to walk on
Even when hope was about gone
Through both bad and good times
Peace comes by writing my rhymes
Times alone
Times love has been shown
My strength has grown
Challenges I faced
Dreams I chased
Times I was brought to a knee
Faith set me free
Kept the love in my heart
The strength to do my part
The path less traveled
Pain unraveled
Lost nor found
I knew where I was bound
Quite strength was always around
Keeping me growing
Ever knowing
I can face anything
Whatever life may bring
Faith gets me through
I stand true
Courage to face a new start
The beat of my heart
Life is a gift
Faith gives it a lift
Peace is always found within you
So true
