Stand By Me

When my road of life is tiring
I know your close at hand
When at the cross roads of the journey
By me you will always stand

From the moment  I was born
You were always there
Lifting me up when I was down
You stay because you care

The days when my life is sunny
You smile with eternal grace
Linking arms walking tall
Together, anything, we can face

Any trials and tribulations
That life can throw at us
One mind, one hope, one prayer
No one can separate us

You are my guiding light
Showing me the way
No matter what I do that's trite
By my side you will always stay 

You are my shadow 
Together we face the day
