Stalking Shadows

For my Dads, one dearly departed and one a lover of horror.

We often fear the shadows,
But somehow always seek
Those things which are the darkest,
And the secrets others keep.

We watch for what we fear,
And hope to catch the shadows
As they slowly creep about
Looking in the windows.
