Staircase Race

March 21, 2015

you shan't win
not this day my furry friend
watch me run

head start - yeah!
close to end he leaps down ledge
watch him fly

staircase race
wins and rubs it in my face
prissy proud prance

We have a Golden named Annie and 2 cats... Zoé (female) and Curtis (male)! The three of them get along famously and are totally amazing! Every day they do things that makes us wonder, "are they REALLY dumb animals"? Sorry for your loss! It will be a very sad day when we lose any of our three! Love, Jack xxx

Cats are so smart! I loved my buddy. I miss him dearly, thank you for the visits - this poem means a lot to me. I have a new kitten at home. She is fluffy, and all black, her name is Ebbie. Wish I could get her a companion. Your kitties sound very sweet! ~Laura

I am so sorry Laura for your loss. Our pets first steal our hearts. They then become our friends next our partners and quickly they become part of our family.

Yes, Spy was my cat's name. He was very intelligent and playful - a great joy to have around. He was my little shadow, followed me everywhere. : ) His memory makes me smile. ~Laura

You're kind Maurice, and thank you for the sweet visits! This is a favorite of my own, for it is about one of my best friends who passed away recently...I miss our little staircase races. He was a champ to the end. ~Laura
