Stage Set

Thrusted onto a stage preset.
You look around,
Encompassed by an audience that seem to surround.
A susurration of voices erupt from the darkness.
Whispers of eclectic emotion -
A scene so sharp, so vivid, so real,
It cuts deep.
Leaving a scar that shall last an eternity.

The lights are on you.
You are expected to preform,
Conform to the human norm,
But you are so much more than that!
The audience looks to you,
“It is time to read your lines,” they say.
You look to them, script held high and before your eyes
You rip what is known to be the fabric of time.

A gasp ripples from the crowd,
Silence,
And then a standing ovation.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed."
