Staff of Rivals Under Lincoln

After reading Team of Rivals under Lincoln
by Doris Kearns Goodwin

Am sure that I must be correct,
History had tremendous effect;
Not frightened,
And enlightened,
No matter what subject I select.

Jim Horn

There is nothing like a loud crowd,
Who really think they are endowed;
My intuition,
A politician
That has head high in the cloud.

Jim Horn

Some things politicians think are easy,
Especially when they are being sleazy;
Pain in rear,
Far or near;
Seems like it leaves them in ecstasy.

Jim Horn

Decided to put both in same poem.
Easier to read that way.
