St Patricks Day

St. Patrick’s Day Just touching the boundary of my land A pair of bold bright deodar trees stand. Precious treasure My bliss, my pleasure. Closely attached with branches hand in hand. Shedding leaves since end of February. Both show skeleton in haste and hurry In first week of March, Sure! No need to search. ‘Next, gorgeous green to come’: Compulsory. Wonderful! Every year, seventeenth March. Tiny tender leaf buds peep in each perch. Time to greet in gay On St. Patrik’s Day. Pair of trees in verdant veil on green arch. 03/14/17 Re-edited on 03/04/21 St.Patrick's Day Contest by L., Milton Hankins
