St Joans Reward
The conquering child,
martyred by religion’s audacity;
St. Joan rides a white horse,
eternally.
Now bedecked in silken gown;
of silvery diamonds,
bestowed by Angels,
she suffers no more.
There’s a place for heroes
and children;
there’s also one for those
who persecute them.
Karma’s wheel never stops;
for every drop of darkness that it rolls over,
a spark of light is born.
