I’m HOWLING inside clawing the dark walls unseen alone…feeble…scared do you sometimes sense my fear? would you save me if you could? *I wrote this poem on April 5, 2021, as part of the ’30 days of poetry challenge. This was day 5 and the prompt was: Write a poem in one of these poetic forms: BLANK VERSE, TANKA, PASTORAL, ODE, SONNET, OR PALINDROME. chose to write a Tanka poem with the theme of Madness and Fear.
