Squirrelly

His nuts were in the open He couldn’t hide them well The females that had noticed Were under his nut spell He tried to hide them quickly But, it was much too late As the female with the biggest nerve Did not hesitate She approached him rather quickly As his nuts were there to see While trying to conceal them He showed her he had three The look that she had given Was more than he could bear So he offered all them to her As she couldn’t help but stare She so eagerly accepted And grabbed them up so fast She needed to have them quick For fear they wouldn’t last She quickly turned and ran As saddened then was he But he knew, he did what’s right As he climbed, then up the tree
