Squirrel and Her Hot Air

Squirrel And Her Hot Air To your retinue of squirrels Hidden in your mind Hidden behind masks Jumping from branches of doom Onto pages of your poems So shaded your skies And eyes And now your voice Turning ever so quickly Into ancient whispers You climb the tree of life Spitting at the leaves Breaking the branches Of olives Breaking the bridges Of wasted time, me To you A merry monarch Singing gracefully Sitting in my mind Not your hot air Blowing into my sails connie pachecho 5/10/17

Very interesting poem, Connie...very symbolic I think. Who's the dirty rat who played with all those "squirrels" and so full of "hot air"?? lol

Thank you for visiting, reading, commenting. There's so much backstory to whats going on that all I can say is that we both share stubbornness although hers is worse than mine. Did I have to slide that in? Yeah. To answer your question honestly-me, but she precipitated everything. Again did I have to slide that in? Yeah. Me and her, I can say we're so funny.
