squirrel quietly glides across yard, under fence.... blueberry patch waits Date: 6/22/2022 Checked online on syllable counter. com It says glides has two syllables, but according to two dictionaries it does not have two syllables. Therefore, there are 5/7/5 syllables in this one. I checked it with Poetry soup's syllable and it was 5/7/5.

Beata, A place that doesn't have squirrels. Can't imagine that. We don't have them in and around our home as much as they do in the city, but I do see one on occasion. I did the morning I wrote this one. Your visit was delightful. Sara
