Sprung By the Tongue
We walked through
a fairy tale storm.
The magic made our
freedom seem warm.
Once outside your cage
you must rearrange,
and turn your head
in the direction of change.
It's not about selling
or what you have bought.
Although you ought to reap
the rewards of the battles you've fought.
Most cages and traps
are sprung by the tongue.
This is a lesson to be learned
while you are still young.
Once outside your cage
you must rearrange,
and turn your head
in the direction of change.
