Springtime Rhapsody

the
flowers
are blooming
hallelujah! 
nightingales abound
go "tweet! tweet! tweet!"
at long last, 
healing 
rain
falls, 
slaking
nature's thirst
petrichor wafts
through the lush verdure
beautiful earth
young again
spring is...
here
