Springtime On the Mountain

Red bud trees in a sea of green
White and pink Dogwood everywhere
Heralding springtime to all
Who live on the mountain.

Goodbye snow and wind
Goodbye cold, depressing days
Goodbye endless nights.

Blue birds build their nests
Animals bring their new babies
Out for all to see.

Baby rabbits, squirrels, and deer
All have a place on this hill.

The Earth is reborn again
And all is right with the world.
