Springtime Joy
In the dusting of the Springtime,
a special time comes to my mind;
those days when life was so sublime-
and happiness- not hard to find.
Sweet-scented thoughts of yesterday,
when budding blossoms came to view,
and days were bright in every way-
as my new life had blossomed too.
The days were sunny with blue skies-
while daffodils and tulips reigned,
and youthfulness was still my prize;
what awesome wonder I contained!
He came to me in Springtime joy;
my first-born child- my little boy!
