Springtime In Shell Knob

Springtime In Shell Knob By: Tom Wright 2/16/1999 Springtime in Shell Knob will be a special place this year. If you intently listen the bird’s new song you’ll hear. It will seem as though in unison things will begin to sprout. From winters sleep each living thing will seem to shout. This spring will be special in yet another way, for Katie turns “sweet sixteen” on this, her spring birthday. At age sixteen, one thought that comes, is that of a license to drive, You’ll now feel more mature, as if suddenly becoming alive. Fond memories this year will be made and in your heart, forever cast, of a song, a place, or a person, memories that forever will last. Were things at our disposal, and had we power to give away, the treasure you so desire from life we’d give you on this day. We’d do it gladly Katie, without forethought or fanfare. Because you’re a deserving person, and because for you we care. So to a special young lady on this your sixteenth spring. Our prayer that God will bless you in all that life may bring.
