Springtime
Joy unbound,
Hope awakened,
The thirsty ground,
Nourished and replenished.
Beauty is on the parade,
Colours on display,
This is no charade,
There’s no need to replay.
Butterflies flutter and fly,
Birds sing at dawn,
Gloom has no road to ply,
Hazy nights are gone.
