Springsteen Christmas

cold and crisp
his air was singing
and the endorphins firing
one would only know
it was the gift a gift given to the ear
the present of knowing
album already sounded off
the surprise was intense
the surprise was wrapped
and he new it
laughing hour's crying
it was so messed up
it was making scene
we know the excitement was their
she was nowhere near him
up silent the week before
2002 Christmas story
endorphins fire
a song of sweet to the senses
pop up drama up in bed
she knew something
strange goofy look
hair all cut nice for Christmas
air song drama
