Spring's Promise

Rise my children, wake! I bring Father's breath Raise your arms and take His life into your death! Rise my children, grow! Show your glory to all Cold sister northerly goes And now I bring the thaw! Rise my children, bloom! Paint brightly your faces Rise from mother's womb And sing Father's praises! Rise my children, rejoice! Father's love is eternal Raise to Him your voices For your life is paternal! Rise my children, live! Declare your presence here Drink in all Father gives And I'll return again next year! Timothy I. Brumley

Hi Tim, A beauty to start my day with! I see the double application, to nature and to the person in this wonderful verse. As always, your poetry spreads itself many ways and gives the reader a sense of accomplishment finding the depth when reading.
