Spring's Delight
In spring's soft light, all world blooms bright,
With flow'rs that sway in warm winds' flight,
Upon hills rolling, sun's warm might,
All is joyous, all is light.
Each dawn brings forth a brand new day,
With skies so vast, so bold, so gay,
No hint of sorrow can hold sway,
In spring's embrace, we dance and play.
The buds unfurl, the trees all sing,
As earth awakens, fresh and green,
In nature's arms, we find our dream,
In spring, our souls take wing.
And though this season swiftly flies,
In mem'ry's gaze, its beauty lies.
