SPRING VOICES

April’s peculiarity
With its choir of breezy voices
Telling what has been
Is now
Will be

That which has been hidden
Emerging like a hand
Spreading color
Freshness over the land

Resurrection
New life
This upward thrust of nature’s will
Her promise of abundance fulfilled
