Spring Time
The new year styles,
Fashions new form --
Dispenses smiles,
Creates bold norms.
We gather round:
Fit life's jigsaw,
Puzzle now grounds
The winter thaw!
The world awakes
To spring time air:
Patchwork of cares,
Buds green and fair.
So, here we tend
To stuff and things
Around the bend
As echoes sing.
The weather's fine
For us right now;
Each plots new lines
That soon endow.
Fate swings and flings
Uncertain poise;
Watch breaks that bring
More or less choice.
Nobody knows
The future now;
Observe what flows,
What fate endows.
Start with faith bold,
Let hope inspire;
Love follows soul
In ice and fire.
Time moves swiftly
With change of pace;
Too soon, briefly,
We lose a trace.
Too soon, too late,
We discern voice;
We die to fate,
Forfeit true choice.
Let blossoms show
What spring can seal;
In vibrant glow,
Feel wise appeal.
Start from your heart
To unleash mind;
With science and art:
Feel love align.
