Spring Squirrel
The squirrel,on the big branch
looked so soulfully at me.
His beautiful, dancing eyes so charming
as he if he were trying to say
something.
A deep secret, too eloquent to be
put in a poem.
He turned gracefully, suddenly.
His secret?
I took it home, very stealthfully.
*Original version had error in last line. Thanks,
Gershon for alerting me. Apologies to all!*
