Spring Sonata

We couldn’t stop at a park or garden. This past winter. All we could do was hope we didn’t slip and fall. We would drive slowly and safely. The sound of our car engines and our foggy breath, Were the only things keeping us sane. We miss the flowers. We are kind as to not step on them. Although the bunnies munch on them, The flowers don’t mind. They are scattered in our lawns. They are kind, and don’t judge when we walk barefoot through a field. Flowers are always happy. Even dandelions. We could learn from dandelions. Who are happy to fly away.
