Spring Rhapsody
The sun shines brightly, the day is a vision of loveliness,
Blossoms on the trees that look beautiful.
The green grass is sprouting slowly to become a carpet of green,
The dandelions smile at you, their spheres of yellow compared to the sunlight.
Parents and children fly their kites high in the sky,
You could see them dancing in the wind.
The walkways are filled with friends and good neighbors,
A walk to the popular restaurant for a sumptuous lunch.
Pedestrians roller skating , weaving in and out of the proletariat.
Royal days at the conservation area profiled with action.
The Tai Chi exercise group practicing by the lake,
Gentle moves co-ordinated like ballet motions.
What a dreamy day, boyfriend and girlfriend walking hand in hand,
Romance is in the air, warm weather comes and a picnic lunch could happen.
The beautiful conservation area guests, the lake surrounded by land,
An exquisite retirement for parents and children.
To sit on the park bench and gaze onto the diversified conservation area,
Good memories of the seasonal spring, ah the warm weather is here.
The John Audubon society is alive and well,
You see a blue jay or a sparrow, even a robin red breast you could hear them singing.
God waves his magic wand and spring guests,
What a blessing from the lord and friends.
