daisy pollen in nostrils
tongue moves from blue frost
where it slumbered winterish
sunrise cracks pregnant lake
trout jumping in surprise
I finger spring fish
warm flesh melts lips
inner cheeks bleat rosy
packing away mittens
ladybug lands
tickling toes —
