Spring Morning

Fresh spring morning
robins singing merrily
grass turning to green
buds appear on trees
last of snow in corners
ants crawling on grass
first butterfly flies by
fresh planted flowers
seeds in the garden
new season begins
a fresh spring morning.

G'day Phyllis … it's nice to read your poem promoting warmth. We're in the depths of winter and it's darn cold, however we never get the cold that you do - regards - Lindsay

ok, I had seen this one. It's quite similar to your springy poem currently posted. You are in a springtime mood. Read your notes to me as well. I am glad I am finally seeing them. Yes, a big surprise Tim died. I don't know how old he was but it just does not seem right these days for people to die before 80 or 90!!

Hello Phyllis ... as you drift into spring we down here prepare for winter chills. Each line has me going back six months or so - Lindsay

sorry about your downstairs computer, Phyllis. I hope you get it straightened out. I think you were at the blog about Tim weren't you? I feel so bad about that. I always thought he would live a long life. Let me read your poem now.

Hi Andrea so nice to see your name come up. Think of you often and should be writing more to friends and letting them know I am still kicking. Yes so sorry to hear about Tim was a big shock. Not sure what happened but he was also a f b friend. May he rest in peace. love phyl

So glad spring is finally coming to your area, Phyl. Your poem is a beautiful description of the many signs nature gives us that summer is approaching! Love, Carolyn

Carolyn so nice to see your name here on my poem. Hope all is well with you. I am so happy to see spring this year and get out into some fresh air. Have been taxi service for my daughter in law who fell on ice and broke her arm. She finally could drive last week. love phyl
