Spring Magnificent Spring

Sitting in the garden,
With all my cares on hold
I watch as the magnificence of it all
Around me leisurely unfolds

Pansies, Daylilies and Sunflowers
From corner to corner grow
For Humming birds and Honey Bees
Flowers of spring are the place to go

Marigolds and Carnations
Enjoy the early summer heat
Lady bugs and caterpillars
Crawl slowly across my feet

Morning Glories climb the trellis
While Roses bloom down below
The air is scented with nature’s perfume
There is no lovelier place to go.
