Spring Is Not All
Midst soothing cheers spring has unique features,
It's a grand mixture of vast boons and banes;
The spring sun is a balm for some creatures,
While its burns cause, for others, strains and pains...
Do all plants that come to life bring-in smiles?
Beech, birch, alder, and ash allergies cause;
Though gentle breeze blows in its rhythmic styles,
Don't gales and squalls have deadly claws...?
While sparrows, swallows, and swifts sing songs sweet,
Don't mosquitoes, bugs, and fleas sharply sting?
Reptiles break their hibernation retreat,
Midst butterflies, don't flesh flies too, take wing...?
Spring is, hence, not the sole season at all,
It's just one like winter, summer, and fall...!!!
