Spring Is In the Air

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Is winter's wrath submitting, abating?
Wise spring is no fool in hesitating.
Winter can't compete with climate warming.
Its vice-like grip fails, new spring is dawning.

The sun clears wintery eyes, beaming light!
Spring feels the warming, days now stretching, bright.
Flora pumping, green buds near to bursting!
Fauna lusting, procreation thirsting!

Spring now producing joys, food begging cries!
Chicks calling mum, on whom their life relies.
Spring lambs bleating, bouncing, all full of life
Daffodils, primroses yellow, springs plight!

Spring peaking, hiding summer up its sleeve.
New life, spring ready for some well-earned leave!
