Spring In the Air

Spring Is In The Air Seasons changed as revolutions circled in the wider scheme of matter with great things to come and wonders gone past Summer in unforgettable rays of foam covered ocean spells on dune’s treat feat and retreat from memories folded in anticipation Rusty golden leafed pages when the wind gathered strokes as she tickles autumn draped logs of amber fires unlocking the years Icicles in frosty notions of bright color panes when the future melted in a moment dispersed snow falling glitter in passionate vow When April tide weathered their playground Avril and Ewan toiled in the garden jumped up and down on the old mattress in unperturbed grass A tyre roped from gnarled faithful apple tree branches swung to and fro caressing the precious freight the giggles squeaks and the laughter The horse hair filled canvas gave way as the children grew older when new adventures changed the pulse mitre and rhyme of their seasons Yet children at heart they still leaped jumped frills frolicked in fever and yearning as life changed in challenge and dangers sweet smelling scent The mattress had been their friend for many a year now yet innocence faded as right at the centre piercing the fabric a spring was up in the air 03rd Day of March 2018
