Spring Frost

Spring Frost is here, I look out the window. Snow seldom guests in Spring, The gentle snow appears on the branches of the local trees. The spruce and pines are touched with snow, A beauty to behold, God's paintbrush guested. The environment transcends to a Christmas postcard, Santa and the reindeer came and went. I could picture the Christmas tree in the living-room, Like Christmas in March. Somehow the frost is a friend and comfort, When the cool weather is still here. The beauty of nature continues to astound me, Beautiful to look at and beautiful to see. A frosty day viewed through the large window, Good day to stay at home and keep warm. Dressed for the weather a toque and warm coat, Careful walk outside to view the beautiful scenery. God continues to bless us, I am truly thankful for these days and nights.
