Spring Flowers
Awaking nature screaming
“Springtime” are yellow forsythias
Brightly welcoming radiantly
glowing daffodils
Coloring gardens with scented hyacinths
as well as fragrant lilacs with
Delightful lilies of the valley
wafting their sweet redolence…
Eager weigelas swaying
in their pretty trumpeting petals
Freely cheer primroses
featuring rainbow-hues along surroundings
Gladly beautified by begonias
and where crocuses
Hardy bulbs, pop up, hastening
periwinkles to show vine vibrancy
Inviting variety of tulips to highlight
their interesting brilliance and shapes hailing
Joyous fritillarias
reigning in bell-shaped blooms…
Keeping Creator’s wonderful* handiwork
prevailing to inspire mankind.
*Psalm 40:5 Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.
