Spring Fever
Springtime comes but once a year-
When Earth bursts into life once again.
With flowers blooming, birds singing,
And the sun shining brightly after the rain.
Roosters crowing, bees buzzing,
And the wind rippling through the trees.
My heart is merry- I haven’t a care.
Spring fever hits when winter leaves.
