Spring Dress
The frost from my glass has fled in silence
Quiet rain now falls on my window sill
Chill of Winter's breath has left in compliance
As rays from the sun now exerts its will
To trade in the gray so colors fulfill
Brown dress of Winter, exchanged for Spring green
Will be accented by color from flowers found
Joyous fragile wings of butterflies, a bow seen
Lifting the senses, as eyes in love look around
Winter's quiet has left, enter Spring with her sound
Here in her grand hall the sun will warmly rise
Anticipating the return of birds on feathered wing
They'll build their nests of twigs in trees with disguise
So speckled eggs will hatch and their newborns will sing
The dress finally finished, And it dazzles the eyes
