Spring Day One

Spring Day One Day One of Spring and it’s 86. Anxiously, the trees have been watched, Will the old natives burst buds one more time? How long will puffs stay on the dandelions? Dear Iris have come and are now hanging over; Bare soil is covered with sticker clover. A newly painted deck is insulted by elm debris. Spring like a comforting mother, is here protectively. For she knows she must curl her big strong arms Around her world with the coming of storms

It is as if you were looking through my eyes when you wrote this. It is almost exactly what I am seeing at the moment. Warm temps, irises blooming, trees budding out and the Cedar Elms and the Oaks dropping all sorts of debris on the patio and every thing else. But, it is spring and you gotta love it. Nicely expressed Sunlite.

Thank you, Chris. Did I pick up somewhere that you are in Arkansas? I'm in North Texas, so that would account for the similar spring.
