Spring Creek Personified

She flows around me,
like the tender touch
of a woman,
fluid, graceful,
massaging my aching muscles,
soothing my emotions,
calming me,
softly touching places
only lovers know,
as if the water itself
were alive.
This creek,
simply flowing,
as nature would have it,
no more, no less,
has become my love affair.
