Notes About The Poem

Spring Brings Fairies

Silent all winter the stone bird bath
frozen in time. Autumn debris covered
where in spring
a fountain of daffodils erupt….
Between carpets of velvet moss- hushed breath
purple faces of mini Irises
Bespeak fairies

Hearts joy on the wing.

A garden in different seasons captured well in your verse. Hope you're having a lovely weekend Suz. Tom

Hi Tom: The fairy garden was frozen yet again today in an April squall. It was raining ice. I hardly dare to go see my poor violas. It was beautiful while it laste. Best, SuZ
