Spring Breeze

The rain came and chased the snow
Snow said... why did you come today?
Rain gleefully replies
To take your coat of white
My layers are thick, winter is half done
Why not see spring to have your fun?
Rain tried hard to grab the coat
It was heavy and did not float
Snow smiled and knowing said
Dry your misty eyes
My coat of white will soon be replaced
Hang those tears upon the trees
I will keep them safe for the spring breeze.
