Spring Ahead of Schedule

Blossoms bright orange, gold and yellow
Planted bulbs rebirth anticipation
Robin red breast around fifty on the lawn

Robin pecking in the fresh turned soil, mellow
Credit card ordered more and more for satisfaction
Bills pile higher across my desk, collector on the phone

Spring is ahead of schedule until the great freeze
Spring is ahead of schedule until Easter.....If you please!

However, adding the two lines describing your credit card bills and collection agencies over the phone is similar to putting ketchup on a banana split. Perhaps you could have used those two lines to begin a new poem.
