Spring

SPRING

Spring,
Unfrozen dream of a bitter
Cold night
Sprung at the heart of
Despair,
Daughter of winter,
Mother of summer,
Herald of hope!

Your beauty unsurpassed
Your youth incomparable,
Your vigor, unimaginable becomes,
Under
The caresses of the caring
Sun.

Spring,
How much I yearn into
Your arms for ever to
Be,
To hear the melody of:
The joyous birds
The murmuring brooks
The playful leaves,
Trumpeting your glorious
Rebirth,
Incarnated by the spouts of
The devoted seeds,
Servants of immortality.

Oh spring,
Let me drink from the dew
Of your youth,
Thus
Young myself to become
Again!

I agree with the drinking of the dew, maybe we can become young again, but I am always young in my heart and spirit! You have written a beautiful scene of Spring and all it's gorgeousness! What a grandiose poem here my friend! I love this wonderful piece, Great Work!!

Yes, we get old when stop dreaming and start remembering! Certainly you are young! Thank you!

Only a poet and a philosopher could write such a lovely poem about Spring. As for the last stanza...I think you have already had your fill of that dew for you seem young to me.

Thank you for your kind words! A philosopher in the pythagorian sense, yes, a poet...well...?
