Spring

Snow is melted flowers
Are poking through the dirt
Spring has sprung abruptly
A passing fancy plants deserve
Tulips and daffodils
Flowers of the spring
Birds are singing happily
Wind chimes ding a ding
Worms crawl from dark dirt
Beneath the fallen leaves
Food for wrens and sparrows
Of this I do believe
No sign of a Robin
Yet but the creatures
Fly around
Warmer days are coming
Sunshine will warm the ground

We have some barely perceptible seasons where I live except when it gets cold in June, July and August. Spring must be a sight to see in the northern hemisphere especially coming out of winter. Well penned dear friend

Dear Kelli, Your poem beautifully captures the essence of spring’s arrival—the emergence of life, the symphony of birds, and the promise of warmer days. Your words beautifull create a picture of nature’s renewal and the anticipation it brings. This is such a delightful celebration of the season’s awakening. - Blessings, Daniel
